I start my new job tomorrow, they told me to "Dress casual, but not too casual"... What does that mean?
I start my new job working for a box office selling tickets for an exibition and ice rink... so far all they have said in regards to dress code is "Dress casual, but not too casual"... any idea's what this mean? Do I wear shoes or trainers? Smart Shirt or Casual shirt? Jeans or Trousers?
I'd wear decent slacks, not suit trousers but not blue jeans - khakis would be OK. Wear a shirt with a collar, can be a golf shirt type, but not a t-shirt. For the first day, I'd wear shoes rather than trainers.
Look at what the other people wear, and for future days dress like they do, somewhere in the middle if there's a wide range.
